Here are my mom, Mary and Joseph crossing the finish line at mom and Joseph's first 5K race. There was a woman at the start line carrying a cup (wouldn't be at all surprised if it contained a bloody mary) and smoking a cigarette. Don't worry...they beat her to the finish!! We were lucky to talk mom into joining us for the race because it was on Sunday morning a few hours before a Redskins home game (as you can tell by her shirt).
Dan has improved his finish time at this race by 3 minutes each year. We expect he'll win the race in 2012 at that rate of improvement!
